23 June Bike to Borsa
On Sunday, we went up the valley for the second time, which is not bad for one of the most beautiful valleys in Romania. We learned from other the landscape looks like Canada. Could be, it is wonderful. The Prislop pass is 1,416m, the highest point of our vacation. On top a new church is being built opposite to an old communist memorial remembering the place where the last tartar raid was driven off in 1717. We descended (at high speed) to the ski resort of Borsa, where we ate in the Perla Maramuresului restaurant. Good quality, but the hotel was fully booked.
