26 June Bike to Ocan Sugatag
On Wednesday we took a small dirt road to Poienille Izei, the landscape was like a painting. We saw people working all over in the valley. We could imagine this would be a touristic hotspot within five years. At Barsana, which was our most Northern point in Romania maybe 15km from the Northern border to Ukrain, we took a small road. The road was very steep, sometimes maybe 15%. We arrived in Ocna Sugatag, an old fashioned spa. We had difficulties finding a good place to sleep. The hotel was expensive and the Casutes, where all very dirty. We found a bed and breakfast, which was also called pensiune Maria. What a coincidence. The persons were very gently. We got warm milk, fresh from the cow for breakfast.
